Chagsy, Akusto and Shadow qualify for heats.

Throughout the weekend of the 17th,18th and 19th of April, three of our Vikings will be participating in the Fortnite Champion Series Heats with a possibility to qualify for the Grand Finals on Sunday to play for a total prize of $70,000.

Chagsy, Akusto and Shadow each qualified via consistency points and have already secured $900 each, however, are aiming higher. Chagsy will be playing heat 1, Akusto in heat 3 and Shadow will play heat 4.

How does FNCS Work?
FNCS or Fortnite Champions Series is a tournament, spanning over 5 weeks. Each weekend duos participate over two days for 12 Spots in Heats and Series points. The weekend starts with what is known as the “open” phase, everyone is allowed to participate here however only the top 1000 Duos will qualify for the “semis” phase. During the semis duos battle out for a position in Sundays Finals, where only the top 50 qualify and top 12 on Sunday book themselves an automatic spot in Heats. Depending on where they place over the next 4 weeks duos accumulate “series points”. At the end of the 4 weeks, the top 200 duos qualify for Heats. With 568,558 and 550 points respectively Akusto, Chagsy and Shadow all qualified.

Next the 200 Players are sorted into 4 heats of 50 players and over 2 days the top 12 duos of each heat will qualify for the grand finals on Sunday.

We would like to wish our Vikings best of luck during Heats, hoping to see them all in the Grand Finals on Sunday.
